Product Description BioTek ELx800 Universal Absorbance Microplate Reader in good physical and apparent mechanical condition. The unit has been tested and demonstrates partial operation, however it is being sold as partially working / service required due to an intermittent error during operation. During testing, the unit is able to run a setup and perform a measurement cycle. A video of the testing is included in the listing and shows the unit operating without producing an error during that test. However, the unit is temperamental and will sometimes produce an Error 0400 at the very end of the measurement cycle. The error is intermittent and does not happen every time. The unit may complete a cycle correctly and then produce the error during another test. The cause of the Error 0400 has not been diagnosed. The unit may require servicing, diagnosis or repair. Further testing has not been performed beyond the testing described above. The unit contains the following filters / optical filters: • 405 • 450 • 562 • 690 A protective plastic dust cover is included. The dust cover is in good condition. Important: The unit does not include the required 24V power supply . The buyer will need to source a suitable 24V power supply separately. Weight: Approximately 9.1 kg .
