The microscope includes polarisation functionality and is a high-quality research-grade microscope decommissioned from a laboratory environment. Included: • Leica DMRB microscope • Original Leica eyepieces • 5 objectives: 1.6x, 5x, 10x, 20x and 40x • 3 preinstalled light Filters • Polarisation wheel • dusk cover (has a couple of holes) Condition: • Good overall physical condition • Optics appear in good condition • Fine focus adjustment works correctly • Polarisation functions appear operational • Normal cosmetic wear from laboratory use Known Issues: • Eyepiece interpupillary (side-to-side) adjustment is seized • Eyepiece / camera selector control is seized • Cracked light housing - still works fine • Coarse stage height adjustment is completely seized and requires repair • Fine focus still allows stage movement up and down Due to the issues noted above, the microscope is best suited for repair, restoration, parts, or use by someone familiar with microscope servicing.
